Ann Turkel

The actress who was an Vogue cover girl magazine, lives on the streets of Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. They dated for just eight years, and divorced for 20, but Ann Turkel is still struggling in a state of denial over the death of her former husband, Richard Harris. Turkel is a native of New York. She was born in Manhattan and is from a Jewish middle class family, attended both the Neighborhood Playhouse as well as the American Musical and Dramatic Academy by the time she turned sixteen. Ann started taking dance classes at age five, as well as her study of the arts continued throughout college. Her grandmother is recognized for helping her develop creative skills. Ann trained in dance, acting as well as voice during her early years. Ann began her acting training when she was just 16 years old working alongside Sandy Meisner & Philip Burton. Ann started singing in highschool alongside other students and eventually formed the group. The band also performed for a year of summer stock stage on stage at the Berkshire Playhouse in Stockbridge, Massachusetts with plays such as The Pajama Game" and West Side Story. Ann's show with her band in a fashion event was when Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Diana Vreeland, the editor in chief at Vogue Magazine, asked Ann shoot her first Vogue magazine cover within just a short period of time. Ann then became one of the most sought-after models in America. She was featured as a cover-model for high-end fashion magazines like Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. Ann had a great time modeling for beauty companies such as Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe in the following two years.
