Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson who was the Chillicothe ironworker on February 20, 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as household helper. The agent of Adderley heard about her in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. Within a month of her arrival to New York, she was in the city.
