Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She is a regular on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an actor in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy, born to Menaka G. Suresh and film producer G. Suresh Kumar is an aspiring actress. In the early 2000s, she began as a young actress. Following her study of fashion design, she returned to film. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working in projects that weren't Malayalam in 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. In 2015, she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. However, the films didn't do very well in cinemas. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 meant that she had to opt out of films which she had already started working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was pushed back in 2015, and there are reports that the film will release after September in 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa with Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She was in Tamil film Paambhu satai and Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
